DP / Self Service issues / ownership / rights?

Having some issues with some of our Mac Mini / DPs.

Self Service is hanging on some PKGs.. and failing on others....getting the dreaded "Contact your Admin" message in SS

All going thru HTTP... I thought at first it was just the macOS Server > Websites service, and the symbolic link... that is all good. But I suppose it could be the Permissions on the share and the owner should be "casperadmin" or "casperread", the username that is specified in the JSS File DP area....

You need to have read/write permissions for casper admin and read-only permissions for casperread for the share. I believe in MacOS server you click on file sharing and then right click on the share name and select "edit share point". That should allow you to set up those permissions.
