We are thinking to change our anti-virus and was wondering if Jamf Protect will be the best solution than using any anti-virus for our environment.

Protect uses the built in Apple systems to protect your device, rather than something running on top of the OS. We run it here, and I really do not even notice it is running, no system lags and no waits for something to be scanned.
+2It was my understanding from Jamf that it does NOT replace your current anti-virus but just an added layer of protection. It may have changed since it has been 6 months since I talked to them in regards to Jamf Protect.
