Hey guys,

When a standard user has a Kernel Panic and the machine finishes the restart they are unable to clear the "Your computer restarted because of a problem send data to apple or ignore" Message.

The only way is to log in with the local admin and clear the message out and then it will not return.

I was wondering if any one else figured out a way to deal with this?

Thanks

We have a self service policy that checks to see if /var/db/PanicReporter/current.panic exists, if it does it emails us a copy and then deletes the file. Deleting that file clears the prompt so if you aren't curious about the panic you can just have your policy delete the file.
