We encounter after an upgrade to 8.6 now the following problem.
All clients respond with a :
root# jamf recon -verbose
verbose: Could not recognize the JSS response which was: (null)
There was an error.
Could not recognize the JSS response.
Does someone have fixed that ?
Casper Admin is bugging me all the time that some BOM are not yet done. I index the packages then, save and nothing is written in JSS. i think the problem is related.

I had a similar issue and it turned out that is was due to a restricted software setting that used non ascii characters (Utorrent)
Once i removed that it worked
