we use the netboot/sus appliance (version 3) under ubuntu 12/vmware esx.

since last week we can't login anymore to the webinterface.

webadmin/webadmin should work and also the AD-credentials of all persons in our it-department, but nothing works anymore for login.

I still can login via ssh with the user "shelluser".

can I reset the password of the account webadmin? or is there a logfile, perhaps I can see there why login doesn't work anymore.

I would like to avoid to setup a new vm and download all updates again.
