7.2 tools connecting to 7.1 server

Has anyone experimented with using the 7.2 tools while your JSS server stays on 7.1?
I imagine Composer is no problem, but I hesitate to experiment with Remote or specially Admin...

I haven’t tested this on 7.2 but...

Traditionally, Composer works pretty independently of the rest of the suite, so its fine. Casper Remote, Imaging, and Recon will work pretty well, but possibly not feature-completely. Casper Admin usually will not launch at all on a version mismatch.

Sean is right, but I’ll put it more bluntly.

Do NOT mix versions of applications, Composer being the only exception.

Casper Admin 7.2 will not open if your JSS is still at 7.1.

I went ahead and updated to 7.2 - no problems yet other than unsorted
Smart Groups. I'm liking the new feature that lets you scope a policy to
computers than have a wired ethernet connection.
