Is anyone else wondering how they're going to deploy software that is currently only available in App Store? Gotten any different word from their Apple account manager or engineers? When I got my email from Apple with a list of 50 individual serial numbers for one of the art department labs, I immediately wrote asking how I am going to deploy this. They said they'd get back to me. A week later I get this response:
We only have work-arounds at this time.
We are hoping for an official solution by the end of the month.
I you want to know more of the work arounds we have heard from other customer feedback, feel free to give me a call at your convenience.
Was hoping to have an official solution for you by now.
Anyone using these "work-arounds" yet? And I don't like the sound of that "hoping for an official solution" bit. I noticed the "coming soon" badge on Apple's volume license web page…hmmm…
