I am attempting to install Identity Finder 8.0 via Casper, but the software package is failing to install. I have two policies configured, one policy is to cache the package and then i have a second policy to install the package from cache. The cache policy completes successfully, but, the install from cache policy fails to install. Here is what i see in the logs for the install from cache policy:

I have checked the folder that the package is being cached to and the package is there, however, when the install from cached policy runs it fails.

@P.How did you modify the install script inside of the pkg that was provided by Identity Finder? I've had issues where if you mess with the script and it's variables and not get it correct it will mess things up.

If you cache it to a machine, what happens if you run the installer command manually?
installer -pkg /Library/Application Support/JAMF/ Waiting Room/name_of_package.pkg -target /
If that fails too, something is wrong with your original (modified?) package.

When running that command from the terminal the package installs successfully. I even thought about getting rid of the second policy (install from cache policy) and creating a script for the first policy (cache package) to run the installer when it finishes processing. What do you think? Should i have two policies or a single policy along with a script to run the installer after the caching completes?
I have not changed the scripts in any way other than what IDF has posted on their website for creating the package without the GUI.

@P.How, not sure why the install cached is failing, but if you can get it working manually/via scripting I'd go that route. If you have time to email support, may want to run this past them, but again, seems like some kind of glitch or issue in your environment. Out of curiosity, what version of the JSS are you running?

JSS 9.6
