I go into the "set" that I've created
Options > Account Settings > Edit
and then follow the link
Edit the management account via the User-Initiated Enrollment settings
and change the password but not the account name.
I run machines through the process and they still use the old password.
Thanks for any workarounds.

@mfcfadmin So you are trying to set a new password for PreStage enrollments right? if you do this this is only applied to devices that are enrolled after the settings is applied.
If you are trying to change the password on all earlier enrolled machines thats a different story.
Please give us more information so we can help you out!

I do Apple Internet Recovery and use Disk Utility to wipe the entire device and then reinstall the latest OS.
So even though the machine has gone through the process before, it shouldn't have any record of the old password.
We're also doing brand new machines and they're getting the old password.

@mfcfadmin are we talking about the management accout, or account that you create via PreStage enrollment and the extra account feature?

I don't understand the question since I did say
then follow the link Edit the management account via the User-Initiated Enrollment settings
