Sparing everyone the circuitous path that has led me to the question posed in the subject line, does anyone know of a way to accomplish this using policies? I have been unsuccessful thus far in forcing a dock.plist to all of our user accounts (existing and future) and was wondering if anyone knows how to accomplish such a task. The old method I used previously (using "other items" in the dock Profiles) doesn't work in JSS (I submitted that in a separate feature request), neither does setting a policy for "adding dock items" (only seems to work for local client accounts).
Any and all thoughts are appreciated.
