Dear all,
since the update to 7.2.1 I have seen that the deployment of some dmg (2.2Gb size), like Adobe are taking too long
If I use Netinstall, then it goes really fast
I have not tried yet via casper policy.
I have an Mac os X server Dual core with a dedicated 1Gbps to the Casper Setup, no other things running on the machine
Thanks

I noticed that as well.
I've emailed support at jamf about this and they recommended using AFP/SMB instead of http for pushing out packages over 2GB. I've had good results with this so far.

I'm already doing that, in fact I turned off HTTP all together.

Thanks for this.
I was just recreating our netboot images as I was having issue with imaging indefinitely hanging when installing an OS using the casper install method from a dmg.
But using AFP/SMD instead of http fixed it!
