I’m attempting to setup network monitoring of some iPads to notify me if any of them lose wifi connection. I’m using PRTG network monitor to ping the ipads. Come to find out, that ipads do not respond to pings when the screen is locked (at least not very consistently). Has anyone found a way around this? Or anyway to notify admins when ipads lose wifi?
I know they are on the wireless network because I can see them (even when screens are locked), and also JamfPro remote commands go to them fine as well.
