Hi all,

Posting this here cause I can't find anywhere to go ...

I use JSS MCX policy to populate the Mac built-in VPN with our relavent information and works great!

Thing is, occasionally the VPN menu icon gets 'stuck' per say.
You click and release on 'Connect VPN' and nothing happens. Of course that is a support call and if they are away, it's a very angry support call.

Seems the only fix I can find is to make the VPN menu icon go away and bring it back from within System Preferences. I believe this to be a Finder bug?
However, my end users can't/won't remember the fix.

So I thought maybe I can make a RealBasic application or shell script or AppleScript that 'calls' the connect button and bring up the VPN authentication window so my end users won't have deal with the 'stuck VPN menu icon'.
I've been trying for weeks to find the process or whatever that spawns the authentication window and can't!

Any thoughts?

Was going to post a screenshot but seems we can't here.

Many thanks in advance!
