Wondering if anyone has packaged FlashPlayer and if any tips or gotchas I
should be aware of?
My first attempt of packaging 9.0.47.0 I learned that I need to select 'New
and Modified files' instead of 'New Files'. Selecting 'New Files' resulted
in preferences for Safari only. I guess it is so since installer is
replacing existing files with updated files therefore nothing new.
I'm planning to upgrade the plug-in from version 8.0r24 and 9.0r16.
Appreciate any suggestions you have regarding.
Thanx in advance,

Cyrus,
Adobe Flash Player is a preinstalled package that is built into Composer 5.0.
You should be able to install Flash Player, launch Composer, navigate to the "Prebuilt" tab, click "Open Diff" and select "Adobe Flash Player.composer" and Composer will do the heavy lifting for you to create the package. Once the package has been created, check the box for the package in the prebuilt tab and save the package.

Nick,
I'm still on Capser 4.1. Can I use Composer 5.0 to build packages to be used
in 4.1? BTW, not sure OS is of any relevance but I'm still on Panther.
Thanx,
Cyrus

Cyrus,
Composer is the only 5.0 app that can be used with a 4.1 server. It has been tested on is known to work on Panther.
Try it out and let us know how it goes.
