Policy to update field in database

Not applicable

Hello All

Have just upgraded to 7.2 - so hopefully my other query will resolve itself!

My next query is, that I need to suck some data into the Casper database, so I can query it and spit out some reports.
The data I want is, Firefox/Safari/etc history, and some spotlight searches.

With the spotlight search I have entered:
mdfind -onlyin /Users "kMDItemKind == 'AVI movie'"

into the Advanced, Run Command field. It runs it and does find files. But the only place I can see it is in the logs.
Is there a way to use that line, or a better one, to push that info into the database - or another one if needs be - so I can search it? Even better if I can add machines with hits to a Smart group!

With the web history, I have got a line for Safari:
strings ~/Library/Safari/History.plist | cut -f 1 -d '['

put in the same place. Not sure if it works. But the same question about putting that data into the database. Or a better way of getting the info.
Students go through the proxy while at school - but at home they do not - so we want to trial gathering that data from their at home usage. Before anyone asks, we own all the laptops and the parents have consented and requested this service.

Thank you

Justin
