Running Casper Imaging from the Recovery Partition

I'm trying to get Casper Imaging running on a Recovery Partition anyone having any luck with that? I want to use NetInstall of Lion as a Netboot as well. I have the app on and in the menus, but it won't launch. I copied the open binary over as well, but I get error 10810. I have a pref file loaded as well pointing at my JSS.

Did you or anyone else ever get this to work? Would be very interested as an alternative to NetBoot...

Here's a very rough proof of concept: http://jeffstrauss.com/?p=216

You can always push your Restore image to the Mac as an additional hidden partition. I wouldn't have it automatically log in to Casper Imaging as root though. ;)
