Jamf Protect Experiences?

Just started at a new company and they are in dire need of an endpoint AV solution (among just about every other security precaution that exists).

I am working to set us up with Jamf Pro and I wanted to reach out to see if you have any experience with Jamf Protect (instead of a "more traditional" AV). Most of the posts here are from last year and before I commit to something like MalwareBytes I wanted to check to see if anyone has experience with Jamf Protect as I am a big fan of the tight MacOS integrations and the reduced risk of something breaking with OS updates.

I am 100% not sold on an AV yet so I figured I'd reach out here before diving further into the weeds.

Thanks!

You won't find better on macOS, and no other vendor will support zero-day macOS releases as well - if at all.

It's really nice for a variety of reasons, but the best bet would be to contact your company's Success Manager (if they use Jamf products already) and see if they can arrange a demo for you. If you don't use Jamf at all, shoot them a call and see if they can sort you out with one.

We recently swapped from another AV product to JAMF protect. Has been a really positive experience for us and greatly reduced admin overhead. The product we were using previously caused us no end of pain particularly with intro of M1 and BigSur.
Would second the suggestion of reaching out to your Success manager for demo and trial. Be aware you would need an MDM such as JAMF pro to deploy it.
There were some fantastic sessions on protect in this years JNUC you may also want to have a look at. One of the session specifically covers the experience of a company that swapped to protect.
