High Quality JAMF Contractor

We are looking for an outsourced JAMF resource that can work 20-30 hours a month, that is highly regarded in the JAMF community.

Does anyone know of any organizations that have JAMF outsourcing experience? We would prefer an organization with multiple JAMF expert employees vs an individual.

I'm not sure how much traction you'll get on this job board with that ask, as it sounds like you're looking for a managed services provider (MSP) rather than an individual contractor. You might want to reach out to established enterprise MSPs like Insight or CGI; they’d be happy to offer services that match your needs. Rocketman Tech is another option with a strong JAMF focus.

Just keep in mind, the level of talent you're asking for typically doesn’t come in at 20–30 hours a month unless you're already on a retainer or paying premium rates. Be prepared to have an MSP budget for MSP expectations.

While I'd love to talk to you and have a good amount of experience - I'm an individual contractor and I think as AJPinto has said you will want to find an MSP but the price will be up there.

We are still trying to figure out what would work best, we just can't afford a full time JAMF employee, and have too few other staff to support it properly.

I will look into Rocketman Tech, a company that focuses on one thing seems better, even if pricier, than a standard MSP which we've had less than stellar luck with in the past.

Thank you both for the guidance!

If it helps:
how I got started was when my employer at the time hired a contractor to setup our JAMF environment. Once we onboarded and we got our feet wet - we were able to "keep up" with day to day fairly easily for 300 endpoints and 500 iOS devices with just two employees (me and an alternate). Minus a few JAMF outages and issues - we dropped JAMF premium support (their top level) and dropped to just standard.
Keep it as standard and simple as possible is all I can say; best of luck though!
