I just use https://techion.com.au/blog/2015/4/28/dock-master

For our Ventura devices, I dump this stuff into the fields, remove the bumph, leave a lot of the settings alone as they're configrable after the config profile is uploaded to jamf.

/System/Library/CoreServices/Finder.app
/System/Applications/Calendar.app
/System/Applications/Launchpad.app
/System/Applications/Notes.app
///Applications/Google Chrome.app
///Applications/Microsoft Word.app
///Applications/Microsoft Excel.app
///Applications/Microsoft PowerPoint.app
///Applications/Microsoft Outlook.app
///Applications/OneDrive.app
///Applications/Microsoft Teams classic.app
///Applications/Self Service.app

/System/Cryptexes/App/System/Applications
~/.Trash

I scope the profile out by a 'Student Computers with Ventura' smart group, as Apple tend to change paths between macOS major revisions. I tend to keep specialist apps out of the dock, as login scripts relating to licensing/preferences need time to start firing off (I think the short wait is related to the usual first time login stuff siri etc, being skipped).

What's the benifit of doing it your way around?
