Hi,

We'd like to generate a report of all our current hardware configurations currently managed by Casper. (not a list of all computers but only the different models)

So the list would be something like a list of models with there various different configurations like the total RAM, processor type, processor speed etc.

Anyone a quick tip?

Do you mean grouping them by model and listing the different spec options beneath them?

I think you'll need to do a basic export of the data and then get Excel involved.

That is exactly what I'd like to see in a report. I hoped I could bypass the 'Excel" option... somehow.

Its fairly easy to just get a list of all model types by their full model name, but including individual spec configs with that isn't going to be that easy to do. You probably would need to pull all the data into a csv and then sort it from there.

I'm having trouble doing this, can someone provide me a little guidance? Thanks.

P.S Sorry to resurrect an old thread.
