Local Account disappearing

We are the Kerberos SSO and we have had some of the local accounts that are created in the provisioning process.  So far there have been a few that have lost the local accounts not able to log in to the account at all.  Log in as the admin user and the account is gone from system preferences.  Has anybody had this issue before and is there a fix for it?

Are you making the accounts via a computer policy? I've had issues trying to create accounts before the first successful login.

They are created when the computer is being provisioned. It is an OOBE for the account creation.   The user creates the account before the provisioning process finishes

I found a bug with jamf a few years ago that deletes user records, but keeps home folders intact, if you scrape the jamf logs and see something like "deleting shadow account," that is the bug

I will look at one of the computers to see if I can fins anything
