The Sr. Endpoint Engineer will focus on Windows, macOS and MDM management, including operating system deployment, application packaging and deployment, software updates and patching, policy building, and desktop automation. Deploy, support, and maintain Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android endpoint configuration management. This role will maintain the quality, security, consistency, and availability of all end user hardware, software, and services. This will include Level 3 support, and the ongoing evaluations of core technologies for these areas. Will lead efforts multi-functionally in adhering to standards and best practices and will be encouraged to provide oversight and project management for the team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead upgrades, maintenance, and configuration of endpoint management suites: Workspace One, SCCM (MEMCM), JAMF, and Intune
- Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, system management tools, and desktop hardware.
- Research new technology in response to enterprise-scale business requirements, systems configurations, or technology innovations.
- Responsible for training and providing technical mentorship team members.
- Develop and maintain relevant documentation for new enterprise-scale technologies.
- Supervise and resolve alerting issues for all Endpoint related systems. Lead and test system performance for potential bottlenecks, and collaborate to drive solutions and implement changes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and/or demonstrated ability with hands on experience with relevant technologies
- Proven proficiency in previous levels' skills and responsibilities
- Excellent Analytical and Problem Solving Skills
- Excellent Verbal and Interpersonal Skills
- Ability to work without supervision
- Experience in leadership role
- Basic understanding of project management principals
