To configure and deploy Jamf Connect, you must deploy the app package and configuration profiles. I'd recommend taking a look at the jamf connect documentation for instructions on how to deploy jamf connect properly.

Unfortunately, In Jamf, mobile devices can only update inventory once a day.

You should create a smart group based on the Passcode Status criterion. That would allow you to sort these devices depending on whether there is a password present or not. From there, apply your restrictions to the password not present smart group.

There should be an option to "allow local fallback" when creating the Jamf Connect Login Profile. This should allow users to log in locally if no network is available.

There is an option when creating the config profile to hide the create user button, along with an option to hide certain accounts, like an IT admin account.
