We’re currently using Jamf Connect version 2.45.1 for Jamf School. Should we upgrade to the latest version or keep the current one? I’ve been researching, and I discovered that any version higher than this one is incompatible with Jamf School. Is this accurate, and should I stick with the version I’m using?

For the moment since you are on 2.45.1 you shouldn't upgrade. At least not until jamf says you should as you are correct newer versions are not compatible with jamf school.
