Highlighted Heroes

Who can join Jamf Heroes?

The program is open to existing Jamf customers only. If you currently use Jamf, you qualify to be a Jamf Hero. And nope, we don't care about your level or experience or length of time with Jamf.  We learn, and grow, together!

How do I apply?

Applications are open during our annual two-week application window. The 2025 – 2026 window was April 11 through May 2, as was communicated through this blog and on Jamf Nation. We cannot accept applications outside of this time frame. If you're interested in being a Jamf Hero, keep an eye on Jamf Nation for future application windows. We look forward to seeing your application!

How long does the program last?

Each Jamf Hero serves a one-year term. All customers, whether they've been a Hero in the past or not, are welcome to apply! No customer is guaranteed a spot as a Hero in the future program.

What's expected of Jamf Heroes?

Jamf Heroes are expected to stay actively engaged in the program. This might include:

  • Participating in reference calls
  • Sharing product feedback
  • Joining roundtables or discussions
  • Supporting the community

If you're looking for a more passive role in the community, this might not be the program for you.

What kind of benefits do Heroes get?

Benefits vary, but can include:

  • Exclusive access to Jamf leaders and teams
  • Brand-building opportunities (like speaker features or highlights)
  • Invites to Hero-only events and sessions
  • A few fun surprises throughout the year
  • A Heroes meetup at JNUC
Do Jamf Heroes earn rewards or points?

Heroes do not earn points directly through the Heroes program. Rather, program participants can earn rewards through the Jamf Nation Rewards program, which is open to all customers. Check out Jamf Nation Rewards in Jamf Account to see what you've earned for your engagement across Jamf!

What kind of people are you looking for?

Above all, Jamf Heroes should be kind, curious and engaged customers who want to help others and grow together. All levels of experience are welcome!

Matt is one of the community's biggest cheerleaders - always ready to help, share, and lift others up. From dropping technical gems in Tech Thoughts to swooping in with solutions, he brings the spirit of Jamf Heroes to life. As founder of the San Francisco Bay Area Apple Admins User Group, he's also created a buzzing hub of meetups and connection. We're grateful for all he brings and lucky to call him a Jamf Hero.

Scooter became involved with the Jamf Nation community in March 2025 and immediately dove in with energy and enthusiasm. He quickly earned a place in the 2025-2026 Jamf Heroes cohort and received the Jamf Nation Diversity Scholarship to attend his first JNUC in Denver, Colorado. Since joining, he has been an active contributor on Jamf Nation - posting weekly, sharing solutions, answering questions, and participating in discussions. His bright, positive personality has made him a recognizable and welcoming presence in the community, inspiring others while fostering collaboration. We're so grateful to have Scooter in the Jamf Heroes community!

We asked our Heroes to nominate a peer to spotlight as our featured Jamf Hero and they did not disappoint! Jarred won by a landslide, with tons of glowing praise. One standout quote summed it up perfectly: "Jarred is an incredible force of positivity not only in the Heroes community, but the larger Jamf and Mac Admins communities."

Oprah...Shakira...Beyoncé...Kim. Or as we know her, "THE Kim." Simply put, Kimberly Trojanowski is one of Jamf's most-loved customers in EDU. A calm, powerful voice of reason and knowledge, Kim rose to become the top Jamf Hero through her vast involvement across Jamf and throughout the community. Kim — like it or not, you earned that title from your peers. Thank you for everything you do for your students, your district, and your fellow Jamf Nation members. We appreciate you.

One of the first Jamf Heroes when the program launched in 2018, Thom has become one of the go-to Heroes for pretty much anything. During his time in the program he's advised fellow Heroes on Jamf certification courses, presented two sessions at JNUC, and co-launched the Four Corners and Silver State user groups. He's also grown professionally along the way and allowed us all to love his cat, Arthur, a staple of virtual meetups. Thom, it's been an honor to watch you truly become part of the Jamf family.
