Wunderkind is in search of a brilliant Cloud Security Engineer to serve as the beating heart of our groundbreaking MarTech/AdTech enterprise. We seek an individual who possesses an abundance of enthusiasm in tackling the hurdles that come our way each day.

Day In The Life:

• Discover, remediate and validate security issues across cloud infrastructure per industry standard information security policies
• Build, deploy, and manage production security tools and services to monitor networks, endpoints, and cloud workloads
• Design and operate scalable processes to provision cloud access and maintain least-privilege
• Partner closely with security leadership, compliance and engineering to execute on security strategies
• Assess and propose solutions regarding cloud security to security leadership
• Perform architectural/design reviews through the security lens and provide timely, actionable requirements and recommendations

You Will Stand Out With:

• 5+ years of experience working on a team focused on infrastructure and/or security
• Detailed understanding of cloud and network security
• Experience deploying and customizing security tools to address threats and lower risk: vulnerability scanners, static analyzers, web application firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security monitoring, etc
• Experience in AWS specifically with one or more of the following services: GuardDuty, Config, Identity Center, Macie, CloudTrail, SecurityHub, Secrets Manager
• Experience in GCP specifically with one or more of the following services: Security Command Center, GKE, Cloud IDS, Cloud Firewall, Secrets Manager
• Experience using CI/CD pipelines to perform automated security testing such as Gitlab CI or Github Actions
• Experience writing infrastructure-as-code using tooling such as Terraform, Helm, etc
• Experience working with container technologies and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of common security related frameworks and benchmarks such as CIS, NIST, MITRE ATT&CK
• Understanding of authentication and authorization frameworks or standards such as OAuth, OIDC, SAML, etc
• Understanding of networking and web protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, TLS, REST), and the ability to analyze traffic to find anomalies
• Fluency in one or more programming or scripting languages such as Python, Go or Javascript

The base salary range for this role is $110,000 to $140,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each specific candidate; including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, applicable certifications, and geographic work location. This may vary depending on living location and market rate.
