About the role:
Shift is looking for talented IT Analysts to join the IT HelpDesk Team. The IT Analysts will report to the IT Manager and will demonstrate technical prowess, excellent customer service, and cross-functional partnerships throughout their work.
What we ask for:
2+ years of combined experience with recent Mac and Windows Operating Systems in a business environment (at least 1 year with MacOS)
1+ years of experience supporting corporate tools such as Google Workspaces (G Suite), Microsoft Office 365, or similar.
1+ years experience using Mobile Device Management such as JAMF, Microsoft InTune, Kaseya, or similar.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate complex technical situations with stakeholders across the business.
Strong understanding of desktop hardware, including best practices on handling of electronics and ability to guide users remotely through simple hardware replacements and software troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of security best practices, including managing sensitive credentials and handling of confidential data (including personally identifiable information - PII). Ability to handle sensitive or confidential IT work with appropriate discretion.
Demonstrates an excellent team and cross-functional collaboration, exhibiting professionalism and empathy for other functional groups within the business.
Ability to commute to the Shift San Antonio, TX hub location regularly.
What will set you apart:
In-depth experience with MacOS or Apple iOS in a customer-facing environment - such as experience working at an Apple Genius Bar.
In-depth experience with SAML Single Sign-On services (Okta, Google SAML, etc).
Experience supporting corporate networks, including new office or warehouse build outs and business-grade Wireless networks. Meraki wireless, Cisco IOS.
Experience with IT General Controls Frameworks such as COBIT or COSO.
The IT Analysts will work with many tools, including Zoom, Google Workspaces (G Suite), JAMF Pro, Microsoft InTune, Cisco Meraki, and HubSpot. Robust Hardware/Software Troubleshooting skills will be used to resolve issues for Shift internal customers who are remote or on-site in San Antonio, TX. They bring experience supporting IT services for a business with over 50 employees, handling confidential data, and communicating with employees at all levels of seniority across the business.
