IT Support Specialist (Entry Level)
MERGE is hiring for an entry-level IT Support Specialist. While we prefer to hire someone local to our Kansas City office, we are open to excellent candidates in any of the cities where we currently have a presence (Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Costa Mesa, Kansas City, New York).
As our IT Support Specialist you will responsible for being the first line of technical support for agency personnel for technology services used by the agency and will report directly to our IT Support Manager
Provide first level technical support to end users, troubleshooting hardware and or software issues.
Monitor and manage incoming tickets in our Ticketing System, Zendesk.
Escalate critical problems to other members of the agency IT Team or third-party vendors, if necessary.
Help onboard New Hires with corporate devices, supporting software and tools.
Manage application and system access and perform employee IT lifecycle management, including on-boarding of new employees, changes to access and off-boarding activities.
Maintain office meeting room equipment and IT stock on site.
Manage IT assets and be responsible for provisioning devices via a Mobile Device Management solution.
Execute and optimize IT policies and procedures and provide training to application users and managers.
Assist in the creation and maintenance of IT help desk documentation.
These Are The Qualifications We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science preferred; or equivalent work experience.
At least two years of work experience in a technology support role required.
Experience with Windows and Mac Operating Systems as well as Hardware/Software troubleshooting for both platforms.
Experience with Active Directory as well as Mobile Device Management systems.
Experience with GSuite and Adobe Creative Cloud.
Apple Certified Mac Technician (ACMT) a plus.
