Colorado Avalance vs. Utah Mammoth for NHL game.

Ticket information on Ticket Master and go on sale tomorrow (July 17th, 2025).

I can’t seem to update my initial post so unless something changes any new information will need a new post.  I can edit this post though so not sure why I can’t edit my older posts.

Very useful. Thank you! We’re flying out a couple days early to visit Pikes Peak and the Rocky Mountains. Will have to explore Denver as well and happy to say we already have reservations for Casa Bonita! 🎉

I haven’t heard of any vendor parties yet.  Interested in those too.  Will summarize above if I heard of anything.

Here’s a couple more things to add:

Vendor Party: Rockmantech LaunchPad Game Night
When: Tues, October 7th @ 6:30pm - 9:30pm
Prize draw @ 7pm

Meow Wolf Denver
Convergence Station is Meow Wolf’s immersive Denver experience, part art exhibition, part narrative playground, and entirely otherworldly. Featuring over 70 interactive installations across four surreal worlds, it blends storytelling, exploration, and local artistry into one of the most unforgettable things to do in Denver.  Takes about 2-3 hours to get through I’ve read.

I can’t seem to edit my main post above so you’ll have to look for new posts for added info.

I have a cousin who lives in Denver and asked him for recommendations of things to do and see. I thought it would might be helpful to others. I have taken tours of the capital buildings in Austin and Nashville and plan to go see the Colorado capital building sometime during the week. I hope jamf continues the trend of using state capitals to host. :)

Sam’s No. 3 has awesome breakfasts, burritos, and green chili. Dairy Block has some great spots as does Union Station area. Larimer Square has some really good places to eat. A little further out, but the whole RiNo (River North) neighborhood on Blake St, Walnut St, and Larimer St has some really good food, cool shops, breweries, etc. including Denver Central Market.

The 16th Street Mall has been undergoing revitalization. I haven’t been over there for a long time and it used to be a number of chain restaurants, but it was an interesting place to walk and see.

The Cherry Creek trail, just to the west of the convention center. Is a great place to walk/run and bike if you rent one.

The US Mint is pretty cool to see. They schedule tours of the place.

Denver has a bunch of cool art and natural history museums. A little south of the convention center in the Golden Triangle neighborhood.

Denver also has some great parks like Washington Park (Wash Park), Cheesman, and City Park. The Botanic Gardens are great. All good places to walk.

If you want to get out of the city and be on some trails or see Red Rocks Amphitheater I also highly recommend that. A little more planning without a car but I’d think easy enough to do with Lyft or Uber. In addition to Red Rocks, Green Mountain or the Tables (North or South Table) have some very accessible trails with great views of the front range and Denver. Golden is also a really awesome Main Street and place to hang out.

Some of my favorites.
