Boston Mac Admins Meeting & mSCP Talk, May 6, 2026

About this event

Come join your fellow Apple & security admins for pizza, networking, & a deep dive into Mac Security Compliance Project.

Spring is here and with the warmer weather it's a great time to come out and connect with your fellow Boston area Apple admins over pizza, light refreshments, and good conversation with like minds.

As a follow up to last December's gathering at MacPaw, Bob Gendler from NIST has offered to take us through a deep dive on the Mac Security Compliance Project.

In this session, we’ll walk through the macOS Security Compliance Project (mSCP), demonstrating how to effectively leverage its evolving framework to secure modern Apple environments. Attendees will gain clarity on how mSCP aligns with NIST guidance, how to operationalize its rules in enterprise settings, and how to integrate compliance into existing management workflows without unnecessary overhead. Whether you’re responsible for securing a handful of Macs or a large fleet, you’ll walk away with concrete strategies and forward-looking insights to help you strengthen your macOS security posture with confidence.

Following our mSCP talk, we’ll also walk through the Jamf Compliance Editor, a fantastic tool to hit the ground running with compliance baselines in mere minutes.
