Is there a way to get the contact groups/distribution lists out of Outlook 2010 and into 2011? It's updated weekly by an admin, but Outlook 2011 doesn't seem to sync the groups/dl's with exchange? Currently we are exporting to a PST and importing to 2011 (after every weekly update), but it's duplicating the entries every time.
Would Apple Mail be an option?
From what we've been able to get out of our Microsoft reps, contact group syncing is not available for Outlook 2011; this is a "feature."
Apple Mail and Contacts does appear to handle contact group syncing OK, but it's not extremely reliable. We've instead been using distribution lists and public groups which exist as a single email address list that is listed in the global address list. Public group membership can be managed from any device through the OWA, and distribution lists that have static and dynamic properties based on AD are managed through the exchange admin console.
