We are on 9.2. I dragged the Install OS X Mavericks.app into Casper admin it creates Install OS X Mavericks.InstallESD.dmg. I then Cached that package onto a machine and created a self service policy to install the cached package. When I run the self service policy two folders pop open on the screen. One of those folders has an Install OS X icon making the end user think they should click on that to actually start the install.

What can I do to not have those folders pop open?

Nick, I've also noticed this when upgrading from 10.7 using this Casper policy. I have not found a workaround for it yet.

Still happens here. Not sure if that is intended or not. Did you find a work around or just roll with it?

We also came across this issue. Would like to know if those 2 folders can be made not to open
