+17Just FYI in case others run into this, we have a lot of logic board replacements, and sometimes the machine isn't serialized properly (computer and JSS read serial as 'not available').
Since upgrade to 9.32, on reimage, config profiles don't come down on any computer where serial is 'not available.' Policies and recon work fine.
I'm working with JAMF on the issue.
+5Thanks for the info. We also ran into this problem and couldn't find anything via Google search, but found your thread here. We definitely thought it was serial related because we have never seen a problem like this before.
+17FYI Jamf says it's not a bug, that you have to get the machines serialized for config profiles to work.
+5We have the systems re-flashed with their correct serial and everything is working correctly. At first it was acting strange but now things have started working again. I still have to upgrade to 9.4, will probably do it this weekend.
