I have a bunch of lab computers that are joined to our domain and when users log in, their home directory isn't loading. I have "force local home directory on startup disk" and "Use UNC path from Active Directory to derive network home location" enabled. We are also creating mobile accounts at login. Missing data isn't an issue because these computers are set to wipe all user data on logout. The problem I am having in our art lab. When the home directory is missing, Photoshop won't open at all and immediately crashes. Is there a reliable way to make sure the home directory loads every time? We didn't have to do anything special before upgrading these computers to 10.13.

Does anyone have a solution or suggestions for this? It's still a problem in one of our labs, but I can't recreate it on a computer with the same settings in my own office.

I'm seeing some of these instances too, but only over WiFi in my environment. Over Ethernet, home folder creation in 10.13.6 has been fine. I use the same settings as you described above.

We are also doing this over wifi. I added a script that adds 20 seconds to the login which has helped, but not every time.
