Our students have their users libraries located on our file server.
only local admins have a local user library.
Staff that have local admin rights and have local user libraries don't seem to have an issue.

We have pushed out the full Adobe suite and we are seeing issues with Premiere Pro not starting up.
I am working with the adobe support team and havn't really got anywhere.

Does anyone know if this would cause issues if the users library is located on a server and not the local machine?

Thank you

@peter.caldwell we haven't seen this issue specifically but in the past we have definitely had issues with having Mac user profiles on a network location. It is something that Adobe officially does not support (e.g. see here) so a while back we switched to using a login script to connect just the user's Documents folder to their Active Directory home directory.

As @DanJ_LRSFC said, we have had a number of issues using Adobe products with files stored and edited directly onto network shares.
We didn't really investogate too hard and just moved users to doing it local.
