Hi All

Not sure if this has been covered here, but we have been trying to get our non admin users to be able to install apps from the app store -

Just got told about this little trick, not sure if its been covered here but thought I would share just in case

All you have to do is add the non admin to the "_appstore" group on the computer, then they will be able to install apps though the app store without administrative rights

Regards
John

I have been spending some time trying to understand this.
I looked at the above link - sounds fine, but not ideal for my environment since I'd have to build a script for each user I wanted to have access to install from AppStore.

I was looking at this link:

but I don't understand it.
I built the command into a script and when I try to run it, I get a permissions error - this is new to me, still learning.

thoughts?
