Allowing restricted program to run by standard user?

I am trying to set up a Mac for student's so that they can run a program called Cura. The student's have standard accounts. When we try to open the program we are getting the message "You do not have permission to open the program X."

How can I fix that please?

    Are all of the students in a particular group? If you post the current application permissions I can help you further.

    To determine

    ls -all /Applications/Cura in terminal

    @jgwatson what are the permissions on the app?
