We have used the adobe package utility to create packages and deploy them using Casper. I want to create an Adobe update server and im stuck on the deployment of it. According to adobe, you can incorporate it into the packages when creating the packages, what if the packages are out ? Is there a way i can get the updates to my staff if the packages are on their Macs?

thank you

I'd recommend watching this video if you haven't already:

http://tv.adobe.com/watch/creative-suite-in-the-enterprise/set-up-an-internal-adobe-update-server-by-using-ausst/

Once you create the .override file you can use a Casper policy to install both the remoteupdatemanager and .override files into existing Macs.

From here I decided to go with a Self Service option to run remoteupdatemanager.
