+3Hi there, We've migrated a number of machines to active directory VIA Centrify Express. We'd like a way to convert the network accounts created to mobile accounts automatically, and or remotely. We need to do this to set up File Vault for the users.

+17I don't have experience with Centrify express, but the createmobilecaccount utility sounds like what you're looking for. We use it when converting local account to mobile ones. It is at /System/Library/CoreServices/ManagedClient.app/Contents/Resources/createmobileaccount and includes a short but useful help text. Of note, it will not cache the password for the account. The user must login at least once while in contact with the directory to do so.
