We would like to use it to send reports out. Here's the requirement...
A saved search leverages a smart group to track deployment of a specific package. The search works fine.
We have 4 people, each set up with JSS accounts, who would like to receive an emailed report every morning. Essentially, run the saved search, email it to these folks.
Lather, rinse, repeat daily

Our solution was to have a Smart Computer Group set up, using a service account, so any changes would be emailed to the address which was a distribution group. We didn't have any formatting requirements.

+36@shakim Sorry I just noticed your post...2 years after you posted. We had DBAs that we called on to handle any custom queries or custom reports. We provided them access and they provided our client(s) reports, even created a few custom reports so "normals" could do a search and save as formatted PDF (etc.).
