Hi,

We are trying to blacklist a subdirectory in a configuration profile. Is there a way to do this without blacklisting the entire URL?

As an example: we'd want to block access to https://www.website(.)com/sub/directory but want to allow access to https://www.website(.)com/different/directory. I'm unsure if this is possible in JAMF, but I wanted to ask the question before switching paths.

Thanks for any insight.

This seems like this is more of an issue for your proxy or firewall teams.

That's what we were planning on doing if there wasn't an option in JAMF - just didn't know if there was a specific structure involved in blacklisting the specific subdirectory and I wasn't getting it right or if it's just going to blacklist the entire domain no matter what I do.

In a proxy environment it is hard to block a subdomain as well. You may be able to do it by modifying the etc/hosts file but I thought that was deprecated now.
