Hi all,



Looking for a way to apply updates e.g. 10.11.6 but only if the machine is NOT on 10.11.6. How can I configure a policy or policies to determine what OS version is running (In my situation it would 10.11.4 - 10.11.6), and then apply 10.11.6 if needed?



I'm assuming I have to use a script to grep the information, etc... but wanted to check on any other methods all you may be using.

Just create a smart group. There is criteria for the OS Version, so you can manipulate that however works in your environment.

Why didn't I think of that! Haha, thanks for that.... still learning the JSS.
