Not one to jump on the latest and greatest automatically, which of the 10.x+ releases has been the most stable? My current production server is 9.93 Built a new fresh one on 10.8 but every time I get ready to set up to start using it it seems there is a new release which I assume is a must to upgrade to. Any recent version that I can stick with for a while?

+810.11 added a lot of new management capabilities for iOS 12, new API changes and more. 10.8 (iirc) changed the SQL engine to InnoDB for performance.
I would suggest 10.13, we've had no issues. Then again ours is cloud hosted so YMMV
