I'm trying to use Jamf to upgrade them to the latest version, 7.16.6, but am having lots of problems with permissions.
The developer of Packages said that, " It looks indeed to be an issue with the overwrite-permissions flag of the Apple Package format not being respected by Apple's Installer." He's filed a bug, but doubt if Apple will fix it soon.
I've had a look at https://boinc.berkeley.edu/wiki/Tools_for_Mac_OS_X#Installing_BOINC_on_a_Mac_using_the_command_line
but not sure how to implement that in Jamf Pro.
Has anyone been able to do this or have any suggestions?
