We're a school and we're thinking about giving staff access to Casper Remote for VNC control of student laptops.

We're a bit concerned that staff could observe/control other staff members laptops.

Is there a way to limit which computers a Casper Remote user/group can see?

Tiered administration is needed on the Mac platform period. That is one thing the Mac lacks. Either it is all or nothing in a lot of cases. Though, there will be caveats to having back end products that are tiered. I wish you could some how use users/groups to allow/restrict access to screen sharing based by proximity, that would be an awesome tool for me.

How we fix this is on the Router Side, We designate the School Techs a ip within a certain range of that school. That Ip can't leave their subnet. So they see everyone but can't remote them.
