Can Repository be in other location than JSS server

Hello All, I hope everything having a nice day. I am wondering if someone done this befor : I want to copy the Repository to other location than where I install the JSS. I mean if I install the JSS on cloud or external server, install the repository within organisation (in house server) and somehow create link to database.

Appreciate all the help I get in advance.

I am not sure whether this is possible with the JSS in the cloud, but with an on-premise JSS this is possible. As far as I know the needed steps are described in the Admin Guide.
