Jamf produced a document called Casper Suite Architecture and Design that in my opinion should be required reading for rookie and veteran Jamf administrators looking to build out or scale up their Jamf architecture. It could also be a good review if you're thinking about taking the CJA class (something I plan to do in 2017).

The document, which does not appear to be published anywhere on Jamf's website, is a 15-page primer that includes an array of possible JSS architectures ranging from single-server solutions all the way up to multi-site installations with DMZ networks and clustering. Some of these designs were covered in the 2016 JNUC session, The Art of Scaling the JSS, presented by Jamf professional services engineers @Worley and @stevewelgoss.

I had been holding on to an older version shared by a fellow Jamf'er, but my TAM sent a revised edition a couple of days ago so I thought I would share it with all of you. Frankly, this document deserves a rightful place in the Jamf knowledge base.
