Does anyone know of a way to change the green zoom button's default behavior in Yosemite back to what it was in Mavericks and prior? I would prefer to use a "defaults write" like statement, if it exists, and not rely on the addition of third-party applications. My search has turned up nothing thus far, but I figured I'd ask you all if any of you had creative solutions. Thanks!

+7This is the green button in the corner next to the yellow and red ones like a horizontal traffic light? I know you can push the option button when you click it and it behaves similarly to how it did in 10.9.
I'd also prefer a defaults write solution, but it looks like that's not possible in Yos.
