It seems to me that I saw fairly recently (last year) that CheckPoint was just managing FV2 now, can anybody confirm this?

CheckPoint FDE 3.4.x and Endpoint Security E80.x both still use CheckPoint's proprietary disk encryption.

FWIW, I just opened a chat with them and they said what @nboggs said above.

I found lots of info here, including having to revert CoreStorage volumes before it can be installed...
