Chrome Deployment with Bookmarks

Hello,
I'm pretty new to Jamf and have been task with a solution to have custom bookmarks for each department. Sounds simple right?

I'm unable to find a thread with someone successful in at least something similar. So far I successfully attempted this thread https://www.jamf.com/jamf-nation/discussions/25882/deploying-managed-bookmarks-to-google-chrome-using-a-plist-and-configuration-profiles-with-custom-payloads

However the problem is I got 15 departments with over 20 bookmarks each and there must be an easier way.

    but Google Master Preferences works pretty well for managing Chrome. It's not enforced policy, more like a new user template that runs on first launch for each user but it has an import bookmarks function as part of it which works directly from a file, you would of course still need to generate that file for each department.
